I connect to Cisco 3000 series VPN concentrator for system administration purposes. One of the options on the admin pages is to view a 'live event log' window that loads a small java app.This worked fine in FF2 but when I upgraded to FF3 it doesn't As soon as the java app window appears the app show as 'connection lost' message and the admin connection to the concentrator gets disconnected and I am returned to the admin login page. Java plugin version is 1.6.0_33 for Netscape Navigator (DLL Helper). The java console doesn't show any activity. Just the header info as below.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.logon to admin page
2.navigate to 'Live event viewer'
3.Get the 'lost connection message'
4.Click on any other menu item and get returned to the login screen as in step 1.
Expected Results:
The java event viewer window should show events from the system at 5 second intervals.

You may want to try JRE1.6 U11 with the new Java plugin

Hi
I downloaded update 12 from the java website as that was the latest version there. However the problem is still there.

This is a mass search for bugs which are in the Firefox General component, are
UNCO, have not been changed for 500 days and have an unspecified version.
Reporter, can you please update to Firefox 3.6.10 or later, create a fresh profile, http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/managing+profiles, and test again. If you still see the issue, please update this bug. If the issue is gone, please set the status to RESOLVED > WORKSFORME.

No reply from reporter, INCOMPLETE. Please retest with Firefox 3.6.12 or later and a new profile (http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Managing+profiles). If you continue to see this issue with the newest firefox and a new profile, then please comment on this bug.
