Sorry, I correct description as follows. "Undo" of the edit context menu is useless in the library and the Properties window. "Undo" of the editing context menu are reset only by moving the focus of a textbox.
there are alternative ways to undo (Cancel dialog for example), but i can confirm the bug.
(In reply to comment #2) > there are alternative ways to undo (Cancel dialog for example), but i can > confirm the bug. There is not "Cancel" button in the Library. And Bug 487383 - [Places]'Undo' menuitem in the 'Organize' menu is still disabled until it rechooses the left pane tree and the right upper list.
And this also related Bug Bug 489349 - Change organize popup menu in Library to dynamically update content depending on the selected element .
Bug 451915 - move Firefox/Places bugs to Firefox/Bookmarks and History. Remove all bugspam from this move by filtering for the string "places-to-b-and-h". In Thunderbird 3.0b, you do that as follows: Tools | Message Filters Make sure the correct account is selected. Click "New" Conditions: Body contains places-to-b-and-h Change the action to "Delete Message". Select "Manually Run" from the dropdown at the top. Click OK. Select the filter in the list, make sure "Inbox" is selected at the bottom, and click "Run Now". This should delete all the bugspam. You can then delete the filter. Gerv
