User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-GB; rv:1.9.0.7) Gecko/2009021910 Firefox/3.0.7
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-GB; rv:1.9.0.7) Gecko/2009021910 Firefox/3.0.7

I've set my download folder as a shared folder, so I can use downloaded installs on other machines on my network. The folder has everyone:r set in the ACL. Files downloaded with Firefox do not inherit this permission. Other files created in the folder do.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Set the download folder to have everyone:r access.
2. Download a file
3. Try to copy/execute it over the network - it fails.
4. Manually do a cacls file /e /p everyone:r
5: The file is now accessible
This was fixed in version 3.1 by Bug 224692. If a 3.1 build does not do what you expect then reopen the bug.

3.1 does appear to have fixed it. Thanks.
How long before 3.1 is released?
