Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.From a threaded or unthreaded view, hit the "G" key. Actual Results: Thunderbird doesn't change the view to Grouped by Sort mode Expected Results: Thunderbird should change the view to Grouped by Sort mode, and the default should be date.

The key shortcut was deliberately removed by bug 275871; see that bug for rationale. Also note that there is an extension which restores this functionality, see bug 275871 comment 22.

ludo litmus test https://litmus.mozilla.org/single_result.cgi?id=171297 is based on FFT testcase. I'm pretty sure there is a testcase in BFT or smoketest where the testcase is already fixed or the testcase was removed.
