Can you please try this on a clean profile http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Basic+Troubleshooting#Make_a_new_profile . This is probably a dupe of bug 444600 (or at least somewhat relevant).

I think I have the same issue, or at least a similar one. Firefox does not remember my login status of Google Calendar and Remember the Milk (RTM). After closing and re-opening FF, I have to login again. This could be caused by some loss of cookies. However, FF's Password Manager does remember my login data (usernames and passwords). While clicking through my cookie settings, I noticed that (a) "Accept cookies from sites" is enabled AND (b) "google.com" and "rememberthemilk.com" were listed with status "Allow" in "Exceptions". Thus, Google and RTM were redundantly (a+b) allowed to use cookies. After removing these "exceptions" from the list, it seems to work. FF remembered my login status for these sites.
Issue reappeared. It does not happen each time I re-open FF, but very often (several times per day).
I have the same issue as well. I check the remember login box on log in screen. Enter user name and password. Go to my yahoo. When I close firefox and reopen, must log into my yahoo again. Also does not remember Yahoo user seal. I create it, it shows up. I close Firefox, reopen Firefox and the seal is not there. Yahoo says it has gotten a number of complaints from Firefox users. Also does not remember preferences in Google Search. I thought this had something to do with the Better Privacy add on, but developer says no. Note Safari browser remembers Yahoo login passwords and Google Search preferences. Any suggestions of what is going on here???
By the way, cookies are enabled.
When I log in to my yahoo. Get a box on top of screen that says "Foxfire prevented this page from automatically reloading" When I check the "Allow" button the message reappears. check allow again. Message reappears. Can login but will not remember log in info. Even though that option checked. Also will not remember security image.
If you delete the cookies.sqlite file, or at least rename it is you have it should you need it back, this seems to solve the problem.
Is this still an issue ?
