When your internet connection dies, and you have to restart your router via the configuration 192.168.1.1, I have found that I'm having to use internet explorer as firefox will not load up. but as soon as i restart router it will kick up.

OnDown Time - Firefox doesnt work, would be great to have the accessability.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open I.E
2.Restart Router
3.FireFox Works on reconnection to ethernet
Actual Results:  
Firefox will load up.

Expected Results:  
I should have been able to use Firefox to do this, instead of i.e

This works for me..
Wouldnt have thought safe-mode would have been needed, was just posting to say it would be a nice fix to be able to use firefox when the internet connection is down, will try it tonight.

UNCO, have not been changed for 500 days and have an unspecified version. 

Reporter, can you please update to Firefox 3.6.10 or later, create a fresh profile, http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/managing+profiles, and test again. If you still see the issue, please update this bug. If the issue is gone, please set the status to RESOLVED > WORKSFORME.

No reply from reporter, INCOMPLETE. Please retest with Firefox 3.6.12 or later and a new profile (http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Managing+profiles). If you continue to see this issue with the newest firefox and a new profile, then please comment on this bug.
