We need to enable the localization of SUMO in Bengali [bn-BD].

Jamil, this is one of the better places to get the community to help out directly.

And, Jamil, we'd need "Bengali" in Bengali again to set this up, please add that here, utf-8 encoded. Thanks.

Bengali is already enabled as bn-IN in bug 475131
I just made it available on SUMO, sorry I guess we forgot to do that :)

Actually, bn-IN and bn-BD will be two different locales.  One is Bengali spoken by users in Indian and the other is Bengali spoken by users in Bangladesh.

We have two separate communities working on these locales.  Jamil will be our Bangladeshi localizers, not Indian.

I'm not sure this should have the same name as the other one. What can we name it that is not just
বাংলা
(the Indian version is named that)
Or I could just rename both to বাংলা + (translation in bengali of India) and বাংলা + (translation in bengali of Bandladesh), respectively.

Yes, later one is preferred.

বাংলা + (translation in bengali of India) can be, বাংলা (ভারত)
বাংলা + (translation in bengali of Bandladesh) can be, বাংলা (বাংলাদেশ)

We can cc bn-IN's co-ordinator for confirmation.

The bn_IN team has been traditionally using বাংলা (ভারত). So, the above is OK from our side.
