Since updating to 3.0.7, for many sites tab titles will display "Loading…" forever, after page is done loading. When the tab is focused however, the window title bar displays text just fine (i.e., it shows what the tab title should be showing). 

Doing a full page reload (F5/Cmd+R) doesn't fix. In Gmail, hitting the page's own "Refresh" link does force the tab title to display correctly.

Happens 100% of the time on Google services pages (gmail, calendar, docs) but also on more "static" pages such as lifehacker.com, and this page (https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/enter_bug.cgi)!

Reproducible: Always




Occurs in themes: Defualt 3.0.7, GrApple Yummy (graphite) 1.0.4

Using add-on Tab Mix Plus 0.3.7.3

I could not reproduce this using Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.9.0.7) Gecko/2009021910 Firefox/3.0.7 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729).

Perhaps you should try disabling any add-ons (especially Tab Mix Plus) and trying again?

This bug was reported using Firefox 3.0 or older, which is no longer supported. The bug has also not been changed in over 500 days and is still in UNCO.
Reporter, please retest this bug in Firefox 3.6.10 or later using a fresh profile, http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/managing+profiles. If you still see this problem, please update the bug. If you no longer see the bug, please set the resolution to RESOLVED, WORKSFORME.

No reply, INCOMPLETE. Please retest with Firefox 3.6.12 or later and a new profile (http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Managing+profiles). If you continue to see this issue with the newest firefox and a new profile, then please comment on this bug.
