The content (the center column where the news appeared) resize (became narrower)
when ever a key is pressed in the nickname or password text box. e.g. I typed
linix^H^Hux as nickname, the centre column became narrower for 9 times. (9
keystrokes including backspace.) when the textbox is empty, backspace have no
effect.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Go to slashdot main page. Log out if you're logged in.
2.go here :http://slashdot.org/article.pl?sid=00/08/09/1713208&mode=thread
3. type on the nickname or password box

Actual Results:  the center column resize whenever I typed in the box.

Expected Results:  I expect the layout of the page should not change except the
box I typed in filled with whatever I typed.

Dupe of 39209. Gee, I've only seen this one about 28 times. Reporter, in the
future, please do a search before you report a bug. A simple query for
"Slashdot" would have helped you out.
