+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #453086 +++

Dolske had a prettier suggestion in bug 453086 comment 15. I like it, though if the word used were "Private" or "Confidential" rather than "Security" it would work better for non-security hidden bugs.

How about just an eye-catching strip down the side?

Quick mockup: http://people.mozilla.com/~dolske/tmp/secstyle.html

Dolske - I think with some padding to offset it from the bug content, and maybe
about 20% less OMG-eye-catching, this could work really well. Arguably better
than the background colour, since it is a near-constant reminder that you are
in a special place. Follow-up bug? Should get beltzner to comment too, since
he was one of the ones that wanted this feature originally, iirc?
I definitely like the idea of a strip down one side; some quick suggestions:

 - put the strip on the right rather than the left to prevent fields and links from shifting when you load a new bug / or / make it a little more narrow so it fits in the existing gutter

 - dunno if red & white is needed, maybe just yellow & white (caution tape metaphor)

 - I find the text makes it harder to read the bug itself ... maybe smaller? or just "ssssh!"?

At any rate, yes, better!
Dolske's mockup has vanished... :-(

Most things on people have, fallout from http://blog.mozilla.com/security/2010/12/27/addons-mozilla-org-disclosure/ :-(

There really hasn't been much complaining about the current styling, maybe it's not worth the effort and we we can just WONTFIX this.

secure bugs now have "border-left: solid red 2px;" (with padding adjustments to ensure the page doesn't shift).
