User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2a1pre) Gecko/20090312 Minefield/3.2a1pre Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2a1pre) Gecko/20090312 Minefield/3.2a1pre In this site http://www.jaankanellis.com/googles-friend-connect-api-benefit/ The page is completely blank, I came across it in Sphinn. When I viewed page source in Minefield 20090312 build, it shows nil - not even a single character. But this page in IE7 shows some skeleton HTML and a blank BODY. Something to investigate Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Go to URL 2. View source Actual Results: Source is empty Expected Results: IE7 shows some page source
This WFM inMozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.9.2a1pre) Gecko/20090313 Minefield/3.2a1pre (.NET CLR 3.5.30729) ID:20090313051009. try in safe mode.

Ok will check in 20090313 and in safe mode and report back
Updated minefield to 20090313 and still page source shows totally blank. Used safe mode and same result. (Safe mode 20090313) Also in this update - 20090313 of Minefield the status bar is missing!!! I have view > status bar checked
Very strange - status bar appeared after I restarted the system - but page source for this page still shows totally empty to me
Try creating a new profile.
Did you already tried to cleat the disk cache ?
Yes I clear the disk cache using CCleaner after I shut down the browser for the day before I shut down the system itself. Not sure whether CCleaner supports cleaning Minefield though. I removed AVG addons so that cant be the problem
Do not use external tools that mess up with our files if you do testing. It would not be the first time that external tools are damaging our files. Firefox stores all user data in the Firefox profile and this profile will be used from all Firefox versions. External tools doesn't have to "support" a Firefox version because they are deleting only files in the profile. The page and the page source are WFM with Seamonkey trunk and Firefox 3.0.7
I had removed AVG before removing Firefox completely, and then installed Firefox Minefield again, yesterday. This problem found today - the page source still shows empty to me - How do I take an export of all Firefox settings to copy paste to tech support? Like list of addons/plugins installed etc. In my tools addons I still see things like RealJukebox and there is only a Disable button and no uninstall or remove button
You can go to about:plugins and get them from there. Real can only be uninstalled from outside FF, as they are external programs.
That only displays plugins, I tried about:addons doesnt work. I dont know about Seamonkey or FF 3.0.7. This problem occurs for me in Minefield 20090313 Also I saw this site advertising something about mozilla turbo - http://www.mozillaturbo.com/ - isnt this a wrong use of Mozilla name to spread malware toolbars? I thought it is some enhancement to Mozilla like Opera turbo
filed bug 483404 for the malware
This is another site http://www.kumo.com/ that is to replace Windows Live search.. The page shows completely empty in Minefield, and IE7 shows the same thing, but IE7 shows some page source skeleton atleast. Nothing shows in Minefield view source. I am not sure if one of my plugins is causing this. here are the plugins I have Mozilla Default Plug-in File name: npnul32.dll Default Plug-in MIME Type Description Suffixes Enabled * Mozilla Default Plug-in * No Shockwave Flash File name: NPSWF32.dll Shockwave Flash 9.0 r115 MIME Type Description Suffixes Enabled application/x-shockwave-flash Adobe Flash movie swf Yes application/futuresplash FutureSplash movie spl Yes Shockwave for Director File name: np32dsw.dll Adobe Shockwave for Director Netscape plug-in, version 11.0 MIME Type Description Suffixes Enabled application/x-director Shockwave Movie dir, dxr, dcr Yes RealJukebox NS Plugin File name: nprjplug.dll RealJukebox Netscape Plugin MIME Type Description Suffixes Enabled none RealJukebox NS Plugin File none Yes RealPlayer(tm) G2 LiveConnect-Enabled Plug-In (32-bit) File name: nppl3260.dll RealPlayer(tm) LiveConnect-Enabled Plug-In MIME Type Description Suffixes Enabled audio/x-pn-realaudio-plugin RealPlayer(tm) as Plug-in rpm Yes RealPlayer Version Plugin File name: nprpjplug.dll 6.0.12.69 MIME Type Description Suffixes Enabled application/vnd.rn-realplayer-javascript RealPlayer Version Plugin rpj Yes Adobe Acrobat File name: nppdf32.dll Adobe PDF Plug-In For Firefox and Netscape MIME Type Description Suffixes Enabled application/pdf Acrobat Portable Document Format pdf Yes application/vnd.adobe.pdfxml Adobe PDF in XML Format pdfxml Yes application/vnd.adobe.x-mars Adobe PDF in XML Format mars Yes application/vnd.fdf Acrobat Forms Data Format fdf Yes application/vnd.adobe.xfdf XML Version of Acrobat Forms Data Format xfdf Yes application/vnd.adobe.xdp+xml Acrobat XML Data Package xdp Yes application/vnd.adobe.xfd+xml Adobe FormFlow99 Data File xfd Yes Microsoft® DRM File name: npdrmv2.dll DRM Netscape Network Object MIME Type Description Suffixes Enabled application/x-drm-v2 Network Interface Plugin nip Yes Windows Media Player Plug-in Dynamic Link Library File name: npdsplay.dll Npdsplay dll MIME Type Description Suffixes Enabled application/asx Media Files * Yes video/x-ms-asf-plugin Media Files * Yes application/x-mplayer2 Media Files * Yes video/x-ms-asf Media Files asf, asx,* Yes video/x-ms-wm Media Files wm,* Yes audio/x-ms-wma Media Files wma,* Yes audio/x-ms-wax Media Files wax,* Yes video/x-ms-wmv Media Files wmv,* Yes video/x-ms-wvx Media Files wvx,* Yes Microsoft® DRM File name: npwmsdrm.dll DRM Store Netscape Plugin MIME Type Description Suffixes Enabled application/x-drm Network Interface Plugin nip Yes
This site http://www.elastichost.com/ I came across today, the page displays empty but at least the page source shows empty html skeleton. This is what I expected with Kumo page source and Firefox - Now my Minefield is 20090314. Same issue with kumo
Can you still reproduce this bug? Otherwise, we should close the bug as INCOMPLETE. It works for me with Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.9.3a1pre) Gecko/20100120 Minefield/3.7a1pre (.NET CLR 3.5.30729) ID:20100120043108
May be the URL has changed something, but I cant really tell. But it Works for me as expected, the page loads, shows page source, etc. using FF 3.5.5. So I think the bug report may be closed as non-reproducible anymore...
Thank you. Resolving as INCOMPLETE.
