Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Go to any web site, www.nytimes.com, for example. 2. Mouse over any object or link. 3. All tool tips are empty. Actual Results: All tool tips on rollovers are blank. Expected Results: The alt and title tag words should appear in the tool tip balloons.
Alt tags are never displayed as tooltip but title tag tooltips are working for me with Seamonkey trunk. Do you get this in the firefox safemode ? http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode
You are correct this tool tips are working in safemode. But, I do know Firefox does not use alt tags. But, my web site www.capehazeinsider.com uses both alt and title tags everywhere that is appropriate. And tool tips was working on all websites up until I installed the b3 beta this morning. As I noted tool tips is broken now on all web sites I visit in normal Firefox mode.
The safemode is just Firefox without addons. It must be a bug in an addon if it works in the safemode. Please disable them one by one to find the addon that is causing this.
