Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.2; en-US; rv:1.9.0.7) Gecko/2009021910 Firefox/3.0.7 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729)
(OS is actually Windows XP x64 SP2.)
I have 13 links in the Bookmarks Toolbar and usually have between 3 and 8 tabs open in Firefox. I usually invoke one of those links by right-clicking on it and choosing Open in New Tab on the pop-up menu. Behavior here is normal and expected: Firefox adds a tab and open the link to the site.
When I click the little red "X" box to close a link opened in such a manner, however, something goes weird. If my next action is to again right-click on a link in the Bookmarks Toolbar, the pop-up menu appears with all three Open... options and Properties grayed out.
Clicking somewhere else in Firefox corrects the problem and a new right-click shows the Open... and Properties options available.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Right-click on Bookmark Toolbar link and choose Open in New Tab.
2. View the site on the newly opened tab and close the tab with its red "X".
3. Right-click on Bookmark Toolbar link again.
Actual Results:
Open, Open in a New Window, Open in a New Tab, and Properties pop-up menu options are grayed and unselectable.
Expected Results:
Open, Open in a New Window, Open in a New Tab, and Properties pop-up menu options should be black and functional.
Add-ons installed:
CS Lite 1.4, external IP 0.9.9.4, Flashblock 1.5.8, Java Quick Starter 1.0, Microsoft .NET Framework Assistant 1.0, Move Media Player 1.0.0.071101000055, Remember Mismatched Domains 1.4.3 (yes, it's obsolete), RSS Ticker 2.0.3.
