483669 - Passwords aren't reconciling

Running two instances of Weave (both FF3.1b3, Weave0.2.113 and Mac OS X

At first, it worked OK, but after 1 day, I get WARN messages in activity log:
2009-03-16 21:07:14 Engine.Passwords INFO Applied 96 records, reconciled 0 records
2009-03-16 21:07:14 Engine.Passwords WARN Error while applying incoming record: 'Can't add a login with a null or empty hostname.' when calling method: [nsILoginManager::addLogin]
2009-03-16 21:07:14 Store.PasswordStore DEBUG Adding login for undefined

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Wait for the schedules sync to kick in or
2. trigger the sync manually
Actual Results:  
Bookmarks seem fine, but passwords somehow don't sync.

Expected Results:  
No WARN messsages in the logfile and correctly synced passwords across Weave installations.

I did some more testing.

1. Enabled tracing, and noticed that the server sends empty password data back:

2. I reset the server data
3. Synced several times (>3), with success. The log file says 2009-03-17 09:30:16	Engine.Passwords     INFO	Applied 0 records, reconciled 171 records
4. I synced a different client (notebook). Everything went fine, records were reconciled. I did the sync a couple of times. The log file consistenlty shows
2009-03-17 10:26:53	Engine.Passwords     INFO	Applied 0 records, reconciled 171 records

One thing that might have led to this situation in the first place is that the client name was the same for the first couple of synchronizations. I later changed names and types in Weave preferences.

I will monitor the log files and if the problem arises again, I shall report it here.
