At first, I thought I'd found something I missed changing over in bug 436044, but when I looked at what it actually was, I realized it was just the unported bug 462756. Bug 156558 added an observer notification about "defaultInboxLoadedOnStartup" for some sort of vaguely alluded to Netscape feature to something something with something for your AIM buddies and something, like "[t]hat other client" did.

Amusingly enough, the extent of Google's knowledge of defaultInboxLoadedonStartup seems to be multiple duplicates of "Nobody cares about "defaultInboxLoadedOnStartup"" which sounds about right to me.
