1 go to http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/ 2 click on "launch the video" link expected result: a flash video is displayed in a player overlaid on the page actual result: the player is displayed but the video does not work Tested in IE8 on Windows XP

Pascal, are you sure you have flash installed in IE8? For some reason, the Firefox page shows a disabled version of the player rather than the "You need to install flash" text that we have the on Videos page.

spot on, my security settings were blocking flash via activeX in IE8, marking invalid
