User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.9.2a1pre) Gecko/20090320 Minefield/3.6a1pre Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.9.2a1pre) Gecko/20090320 Minefield/3.6a1pre I can access to hp printer service. the message report "unable to perform this operation" and i have this problem only with firefox from version 2 to minefield. The solution to close all firefox's windows doesn't work. i know this problem isn't new.....but i don't understand (like me other people) why i love this browser and i can't use it. i can't think to uninstall firefox everytime i have to check my printer.Sorry for my english! Thanks Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install hp drivers 2. go to printer properties->Service 3.
You mean you can't access the printer properties in the windows system control ? In that case you have to report that to HP because no Windows system File or system setting is changed if you install Firefox. Firefox only changes the system default browser if you want it. You can try to set IE as default browser again and look if it makes the HP printer setting work again. marking invalid because this is a HP printer driver bug
