485190 - Closing show info is frustrating if you want to copy and paste anything from it

Right now the show info popup has a [x] close, but the entire element is set to close on click.

The reason for this is that having to hunt down the [x] is a pain, but the problem with it is that sometimes the info that pops up there is useful and the user wants to be able to copy and paste it. Unless you click right into the text correctly it disappears with no way to get it back :)

Medium term, we will have the command history that will capture all of this.

One fun thoughts:

When you mouse over the show info area, the border changes color (red fire shoots out from the [x]! :) letting you know that you can click anywhere on the red area to close it. This gives the benefit of being able to quickly close from any side of the item (not just on the [x] side) but allows you to click within to copy).

ACETRANSITION

The Skywriter project has merged with Ajax.org's Ace project (the full server part of which is their Cloud9 IDE project). Background on the change is here:
