I have a few ideas for new extensions, but no idea how to implement them.

It would be really nice to have somewhere on the extensions site (for both TB and FX) where we could submit ideas. 

As an example, I'd love to see a better CLI interface to firefox/thunderbird to make it fully scriptable. This would involve a major expansion to {thunderbird,firefox}-remote. I know what I'd like to see, and would be happy to write a spec, as well as testing it - but I don't have the time/ability to write the extension myself.
