In IE width is 770, in Firefox about 570.

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2a1pre) Gecko/20090326 Minefield/3.6a1pre

Works for me. Pop-up width is the same with all browsers I tested.
Please retest in safe-mode and with a new profile.

This morning as yesterday - wrong width. 
Started in safe mode, then OK, correct width. 
Added add-ons and other changes back in - still works!
Problem solved.
