Hey there: We're being directed to our account page when logging in vs. the page we are on.

Alex: Can you look into this?

Thanks!

Unfortunately, I think this is expected Drupal 5 behavior, but I think there are solutions out there, like...

http://drupal.org/project/login_destination
http://drupal.org/node/49795

I can think of some cases when redirecting a user to their account home is a good thing. For example, if the user isn't logging in for the purpose of jumping some access denied hurdle, and instead they're logging in for the sake of it, then presenting that user with something more personal is a good thing. I think we should investigate that more.

However, that will take some bigger developments than 3.0 can allow, just wanted to put it on the table. I'll try out the login_destination module, and we can default to always redirecting to the referring page for now.

I am confused because this isn't happening on production and I don't remember this happening on stage a week or so ago :( It seems like a setting has changed...

Verified FIXED; I'm getting a parameter passed in to the login page with the destination (e.g. same as the login-from-source page), e.g.: https://spreadfirefox.authstage.mozilla.com/user?destination=node%2F3066
