Gozer, any objections to moving 3.0b2/solaris/* to 3.0b2/contrib/ for consistency ?
(In reply to comment #2) > Gozer, any objections to moving 3.0b2/solaris/* to 3.0b2/contrib/ for > consistency ? Nope, not at all! I don't even know how these Solaris bits end up there in the first place. They are like magic to me. Move them if it makes more sense, but better tell whoever puts them there to place them elsewhere in the future.
They were first uploaded by dave.lin - at least the files in nightly/3.0b2-candidates/build2-old/solaris are owned by him. They're owned by cltbld elsewhere in 3.0b2-candidates and in the release dir, no doubt because we've done some chown's. I've reset the release files. We normally set the top level dir for the release to be mode 755, with 2775 on contrib/ and contrib-localized so that people in the appropriate group can files there.
I've setup Product: Thunderbird-3.0b2 OS : opensolaris-i386 Path : /thunderbird/releases/3.0b2/contrib/solaris_tarball/thunderbird-3.0b2.en-US.opensolaris-i386.tar.bz2 Product: Thunderbird-3.0b2 OS : opensolaris-sparc Path : /thunderbird/releases/3.0b2/contrib/solaris_tarball/thunderbird-3.0b2.en-US.opensolaris-sparc.tar.bz2 Perhaps you can tell me why the builds in comment #1 are on releases.mozilla.com and not .org ?
Nick, The OpenSolaris builds were uploaded on behalf of the Sun Beijing team by using Dave Lin's account. That's why the files appear to be owned by him. We initially uploaded the files to the candidates directory and then later were copied to the solaris directory. I guess someone from Mozilla Messaging did this. Maybe Ludovic knows the detail. There seems to be some intentions from Mozilla Messaging to provide the OpenSolaris build for Thunderbird 3.0. Anyway, the contrib directory is still necessary for us to upload the Solaris 10 builds. Previously the solaris directory isn't writable. So I uploaded the Solaris 10 builds to releases.mozilla.com. The builds have just been re-uploaded to .org. The links are as below: solaris-i386: http://releases.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/thunderbird/releases/3.0b2/contrib/solaris_tarball/thunderbird-3.0b2.en-US.solaris-10-fcs-i386-gnome-2-24.tar.bz2 solaris-sparc: http://releases.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/thunderbird/releases/3.0b2/contrib/solaris_tarball/thunderbird-3.0b2.en-US.solaris-10-fcs-sparc-gnome-2-24.tar.bz2 Thanks.

I've added the two solaris builds to bouncer, so this is FIXED.
