While we can't rely on a hardware keyboard, it would be very nice to have some shortcuts defined for common operations when a keyboard is available.  Some suggestions:

1) the menu key on the N810 and on WinMo handsets should bring up the awesome bar
2) typing letters while there's no field focus should bring up the awesome bar and enter those letters
3) backspace should act as the Prev button
4) Volume up/down should be used as zoom in/out

Backspace already does do "previous page", so no need to implement that separately.

#4, in general, is probably out too. In fact, I think DougT just WONTFIX'ed a bug like that
