Say I define a bookmark called "GNOME bugzilla", point it to http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=%s and give it a keyword of "bgo".
If I move that bookmark to the toolbar, the toolbar displays a button that says "GNOME bugzilla". And when I click on it, it takes me to that "%s" URL, which is of course invalid.
In Epiphany, when you put such a bookmark in the toolbar, it is displayed as a text entry beside the bookmark's title:
GNOME Bugzilla: [_______]
So, you can enter your string directly there, and when you press Enter, you'll be taken to the correct URL with the substituted string in place. It would be nice if Firefox did the same, to let you define those frequently-used queries and keep them in visible places.
Reproducible: Always
