Thunderbird can't open twice the same attachment which containing spaces or accents if the encoding system is fr_FR.iso88591.
For example, i can open pdf file witch accents once but if i reopen this attachment, acroread starts but not the file.
Same problems with Word or Excel files.
If i change encoding system to fr_FR.UTF-8, it's OK but i don't want change encoding system.

Do you have error messages in Tools->Error console ?
