Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.5; ja-JP-mac; rv:1.9.2a1pre) Gecko/20090403 Minefield/3.6a1pre

Steps to reproduce:
1. Use localized Firefox.
2. Open History sidebar.

Actual result:
Month-Year format is strange for some locales.

Expected result:
Month-Year format should be localized correctly.
For example, "2008年12月" is appropriate in Japanese, not "12月 2008"

It's hard-coded at http://hg.mozilla.org/mozilla-central/rev/5413fb8a2a43#l1.167
but it should be localizable.

Bug 451915 - move Firefox/Places bugs to Firefox/Bookmarks and History. Remove all bugspam from this move by filtering for the string "places-to-b-and-h".

In Thunderbird 3.0b, you do that as follows:
Tools | Message Filters
Make sure the correct account is selected. Click "New"
Conditions: Body contains places-to-b-and-h
Change the action to "Delete Message".
Select "Manually Run" from the dropdown at the top.
Click OK.

Select the filter in the list, make sure "Inbox" is selected at the bottom, and click "Run Now". This should delete all the bugspam. You can then delete the filter.
