Over the past few weeks this bug has been increasingly irritating.
Sometimes, but not always, folders will be marked as if they contain new messages, and the new message alert is played, along with the icon appearing in the system tray. There are, however, no new messages.
I am running a dovecot mail server over IMAP as the backend mail storage agent.
Reproducible: Sometimes
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Enable auto-check for new messages.
2. Wait a random time interval for bug to appear.
3. See that some folders are marked as unread when there is no new mail.
Expected Results:
The folders should only be emboldened when there are indeed new messages inside them.
