Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Simply load http://examples.purveyorsoftware.com.  No background image will display but one should.  The icons I display are not what I'm talking about.

Actual Results:  
The page displays correctly but the background-image does not display.

Expected Results:  
It should show a forest background image behind all text, links, and icons.

The http://examples.purveyorsoftware.com website passes 1.0 XHTML Strict validation.
