So in latest Mozmill trunk, I used the recorder to record a series of actions in Thunderbird, stop it, then re-run them using "Run Editor", and Mozmill promptly fails to re-run them successfully. It just stops at the setupModule function.

Actually, upping to Blocker because this blocks using the Recorder functionality reliably on Thunderbird.

You cannot re-run the test without making little modifications to the test, e.g. the controller.sleep calls. The way you did will always fail. I have filed a similar bug a while ago which was resolved as wontfix. This bug would be end the same way I highly suspect.
The recorder can't put in timing data, only a human can do that. So when you run the recorded script, it runs too fast for the application to keep up. That's why we WONTFIXED Henrik's bug on this, and why we'll WONTFIX yours too.
