I have this problem on a regular basis, especially on Mondays. me: inet 10.250.2.72 netmask 0xffffff00 broadcast 10.250.2.255 traceroute to 63.245.208.159 (63.245.208.159), 64 hops max, 40 byte packets 1 landings01.office.mozilla.org (10.250.2.254) 1.959 ms 1.349 ms 1.147 ms 2 * * * 3 * * * 4 * * * 5 * * * 6 * * * 7 * * * 8 * * * 9 * * * 10 * * * whale:src gal$ telnet 63.245.208.159 6667 Trying 63.245.208.159... Looks like a firewall or routing issue.
At the same time that happens, does it also happen on MozillaCorp? Both use the same APs, same routers (and you'd get the same inside IP).
I can't log in into Mozilla Corp. Tried several times. Some timeout issue. Separate bug.
Mozilla Guest works. Switched to that now.
That also uses the same router & APs. The only difference between that and the other internal SSIDs is your src address.
I am not saying this makes any sense. I can just report what I see :)

This was (likely) the flood protection recently implemented on both Mozilla IRC servers. I just checked gravel, and Mozilla corporate IPs have been temporarily filtered due to "flooding" once or twice in the past week. I've whitelisted the entire Mozilla netblock to prevent this from happening again.
