Details

Every category on AMO has a "See All Recommended Add-ons" link on the right-hand side of the category page & a corresponding list of recommended add-ons in that category. e.g.: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/browse/type:1/cat:72 These add-ons are defined via the Feature Manager in the AMO Editors tool page. The one exception seems to be the "Search Tools" category which doesn't have that link. That means that the following add-ons will not be listed as category recommended. CoolPreviews Google Assistant - Surf Canyon GoogleEnhancer Googlepedia GooglePreview Inquisitor Interclue Peers - Instant Search ThumbStrips https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/browse/type:4 Search Tools are considered as part of the AMO recommended add-on rotation so it's important that the same capability is available for this category. The other category that doesn't have this feature is "Themes" and while we don't currently consider themes for recommended status in the monthly rotation, that could change and pose the same concerns as we have with Search Tools.

Can this be bumped to a P1 or P2 since it effects how recommended search add-ons are displayed?

FTR, when you mark a bug INVALID, it'd be nice to have the accompanying reason, so that it's documented somewhere.
