Now that IE8 has been released we should test the site and see if there are any issues that need to be addressed. It's worth testing the current site since we're still a couple of months away from having the new design up and don't want to leave any serious issues in place for that long.
I went around most of the site and didn't see any issues. Is there something specific you want looked at?
If I understand it correctly there is some issue with the site and IE8 because I believe www.mozilla.org is on the IE8 compatibility list. I haven't checked the list myself, but John Slater mentioned it to me. I don't have any specifics though about what errors might have been behind this though. mozilla.com Release Candidate 1 mozilla.org Release to Web Both on the IE8 Compatibility List...
FYI, I heard back about the IE8 compatibility list: "Thank you for your reply. We have listened to your feedback and are planning to remove your site from the next available update of the Compatibility View List for Internet Explorer 8, which we plan to release at the end of May 2009." I'd like to leave this bug open for now though until we've had a chance to review the site with IE8 more closely.
I just checked the compatibility list and saw that both mozilla.org and mozilla.com are marked as having been removed at owner's request and are not on current list. Closing as fixed.
