I can't type in the URL address bar. This just started. Same thing if I try to type in the Find box after hitting ctrl+f. IE works ok so this appears to be Firefox only. I also have the same problem in the google search box on the address bar. I've rebooted, etc. and restarted Firefox.

Reproducible: Always

Actual Results:
All the time
Does it happen in a new profile?

sounds like an extension is causing it.

Found the problem. It was a file I had downloaded from TechRepublic. Removed it & all is ok.
