When you try to open a new window, the cursor shows that the page is loading, but no window appears.  If the only window is closed, Firefox will continue running (it appears in the task manager) but will not open another window.  The only way to make it do so is to end the process (firefox.exe) in task manager and start firefox again.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Click File
2. Click New Window
Actual Results:  
Nothing happens

Expected Results:  
A new window should open

In case one of my add-ons is causing this, I am using: Adblock Plus 1.0.1, All-in-One Gestures 0.19.1, AVG Safe Search 8.0, AVG Security Toolbar 2.0.20080710, Extended Statusbar 1.5.3, Google Toolbar for Firefox 3.1.20081127W, Microsoft .NET Framework Assistant 1.0, Skype extension for Firefox 2.2.0.102, WOT 20081111

Please retest in safe-mode to rule out bugs in add-ons:

If there are still problems, try a new profile:

Sorry, I should have posted this; the bug seems to have cleared itself up, probably thanks to an update.
