BBC videos do not play at all on firefox, but the evil ms browser plays them fine. You just see the the spinning icon forever. I hate evilnet because I can't block flash/scripts/ads. 

I have allowed the video in flashblock. There are no scripts blocked on bbc with noscript. Youtube still works fine. 

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.browse to http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/asia-pacific/7998329.stm
2.click on "f" in a circle to turn off flashblock
3.watch spinning loading icon forever
Actual Results:  
no video

Expected Results:  
watch the video just like evilnet shows.

Please always test without addons before reporting bugs, just use the Firefox safemode for that and also add the used plugin version if you report a bug about a page with a plugin (like in this case flash).

Reporter, please update to Firefox 3.6.10 or alter. Firefox 3.0 is no longer supported and is no longer receiving updates. After you update, please create a fresh profile, http://support.mozilla.com/kb/managing+profiles, and test to see if your bug still exists. If you still the bug, then please post a comment with the version you tested against, and the problem. If the issue is no longer there, please set the RESOLUTION to  RESOLVED, WORKSFORME.

No reply from reporter, INCOMPLETE. Please retest with Firefox 3.6.12 or later and a new profile (http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Managing+profiles). If you continue to see this issue with the newest firefox and a new profile, then please comment on this bug.
