User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.9.0.8) Gecko/2009032609 Firefox/3.0.8 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.9.0.8) Gecko/2009032609 Firefox/3.0.8 get "XML parsing error: XML declaration not well formed." when change version from 1.0 to 1.1 Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Change version to 1.1 in xml prologue. 2. 3. Actual Results: get parsing error Expected Results: display page It seems to me that the major difference in 1.0 and 1.1 is the handling of end-of-line and expanded Unicode support. I am probably a little naive in this, but it doesn't seem to be a large problem to either support XML 1.1 or, as a worst case, just ignore the 1.1 version number. I did forget to try this in Firefox 3.1beta4. oops.
