User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.1b4pre) Gecko/20090416 Shiretoko/3.5b4pre Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.1b4pre) Gecko/20090416 Shiretoko/3.5b4pre I have a large number of RSS Feeds [Mainly NewsFeeds] stored as links in my Bookmarks. These are known as Live Bookmarks. Traditionally these would refresh whenever Firefox is loaded up, and then periodically during the time the program is open. This does not seem to be happening with Shiretoko, and the links from RSS Feeds from the previous session are carried forward to the new one, and not updated at start-up. Additionally, under the old Firefox Program, when the context option 'Reload Live Bookmarks' is selected, a display box shows which confirms that they are reloading. This does not happen with Shiretoko and so one is left wondering if they have in fact been reloaded, especially when they have not in fact changed and it is confirmation of this fact hat is required. Hope I haven't confused matters by raining two points, if so then feel free to split the bug for clarification Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Put some Live Bookmarks in your Bookmarks. [Try a News Site where the Feeds are changed regularly, e.g. BBC, CNN etc.] 2. Close Shiretoko and re-open it some time later. 3. The Original Feed Lines are still displayed. 4. Right click on one the Live Bookmarks and select Reload Live Bookmark. 5. Something may or may not happen, but there is no way of knowing. Actual Results: see above Expected Results: see above
