Chris Double has already implemented Openid at http://tinyvid.tv/
using https://rpxnow.com/ So you will be able to get his expertise.

Since this is related to authentication, and authentication is part of the server, this is better suited in the Server component.

Infrastructure is reserved for behind-the-scenes stuff related specially to bespin.mozilla.com, not Bespin as a piece of software.

Wait, unless you meant only at bespin.mozilla.com, not within the main Bespin software?

Actually both, so we need first it in Bespin software, so I think Server is fine.

ACETRANSITION

The Skywriter project has merged with Ajax.org's Ace project (the full server part of which is their Cloud9 IDE project). Background on the change is here:

The bugs in the Skywriter product are not necessarily relevant for Ace and quite a bit of code has changed. For that reason, I'm closing all of these bugs. Problems that you have with Ace should be filed in the Ace issue tracker at GitHub:
