I am running Vista Home Premium, SP1, 64 bit. Many times, but not always, after I close Firefox, when I open it again, I get the error message stated in my summary (I have attached it). I then have to open Task Manager, and under "Processes," it lists Firefox as running. I have to end the process before I can then open Firefox.
Reproducible: Sometimes
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Try to open Firefox
2.
3.
Actual Results:
see above
Expected Results:
Firefox should open

I experiance this to but after waiting about 10 seconds the proces stops by its self.
Isn't this considered a bug? I don't think it happened with previous versions. Can someone please address it? Thanks.
This also happens to me. I just got a new revision to firefox a few days ago, and it hasn't happened since then. When it happens, I wait, but get the same message again. I have solved the problem by using another browser, usually chrome, and then when I close chrome, firefox will work normally.
This happens to me on average once a day. 3.5 does not fix this issue.
Just received update this week for Firefox/3.5.4 GTB5 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729). I'm now having the same error message. All computers in my office use Windows XP. Having problem on all computers since last update. Any fixes yet?
