At one point, i was able to get online and noticed all saved passwords were gone. 2.I then tried to uninstall-reinstall Firefox 3.Now, nothing happens at all when I click on Firefox icon...I cant even uninstall again. Actual Results: I even tried updating Java after the above failed with no result. I had no idea at the time to note the module from the crash screen.
It seemed to go from bad to not working right after i uninstalled-reinstalled Firefox. SUMMARIZE: 1. Started out getting crash reports, but could get web by clicking a bookmark to another site I had on my desktop. I then noticed all saved passwords were missing. 2. Logged out of Firefox and rebooted PC...still got crash report message. 3. Updated java... still got crash report message. 4. Uninstalled-reinstalled Firefox...icon no longer worked at all and could no longer uninstall-reinstall Firefox. Its just dead.
This sounds like it could be tricky, and better handled by the folks at http://support.mozilla.com than as a "bug" until we know the cause. No reply, INCOMPLETE. Please retest with Firefox 3.6.x or later and a new profile (http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Managing+profiles). If you continue to see this issue with the newest firefox and a new profile, then please comment on this bug.
