There is an ad that appears on the right side of my Yahoo mail in box that keeps coming back over and over every time I touch any function. currently, this ad is a coffee ad by Tasters Choice. I contacted AT&T and they told me it is not there on their account, they put no advertising on the mail box, so it must be originating from Firefox. I find this utterly distasteful, annoying and unprofessional. Is this grossly annoying advertising the work of Firefox? If it is, I will stop using Firefox and, as much as I disdain it, I will use Explorer on the PC and Safari on the Mac. Please reply to my email address.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. can't be stopped
2.
3.
Expected Results:
get the automatic advertising out of my Yahoo mail, it's making it difficult to use the email and tremendously annoying.

Firefox (the program itself) does not provide any advertisements whatsoever in or neat your inbox. That is yahoo, and they do in order to make their money on your free email account.

Thanks, that's what I originally thought, but they vehemently denied in on the phone today, which is why I contacted you. They claim is does not occur on Explorer, though I will test that out tomorrow at the office and see.

Why do you called AT&T when you get the ads from yahoo ?
Please use the support (http://support.mozilla.com) for such questions, there is for example a Forum for that. Bugzilla is the place where the developers are working on Mozilla.org products and they don't answer such questions, thanks.
