User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; de; rv:1.9.0.8) Gecko/2009032609 Firefox/3.0.8 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; de; rv:1.9.0.8) Gecko/2009032609 Firefox/3.0.8 You can trigger the problem this way (e.g.): go to google.com ... search for the Site "crocodiles-hamburg" an go on the Site. If You are on crocodiles-hamburg, try to move up/down to the top/bottom of the Site using the Mouse-Wheel. In most cases you will return to the google site. This error occurs only since i've updated to version 3.0.8 Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.go to google 2.click at your favorite site an go to it 3.move your mouse-wheel up/down
Also seeing this on Debian Linux.
Also seeing this in Suse 11.2 KDE In All Mozilla programs. Have tried turning off all gesture settings in about:config. Mouse acts normally in all other programs such as Konqueror. In Firefox, Thunderbird(beta), and SeaMonkey (browser and email) scrolling up causes a jump to the previous page or email. If the mouse is not moved at all and no down wheel is done you can continue to scroll up in the current page but if any mouse movement at all or wheel down the next wheel up causes the page to change to the previous page. In Thunderbird (beta) the actual focus changes randomly between panels with the wheel up.
As of release 3.5.6, the mouse wheel now acts as if shift-mouse wheel is being used. Shift-mouse wheel works as normal (one turn will take you back to the previous page or forward to the next page) but trying to scroll on a single page with the mouse wheel will also take you back or forward between pages unless scrolling very slowly.
Have that behaviour for a long time now, don't know when it was invented. An everyday use annoyance. Occurs for me on 3 different XP machines with different mouses/drivers (MS/Logitech). Seen with current release (Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2.2) Gecko/20100316 Firefox/3.6.2 GTB6 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729) - Build ID: 20100316074819). Occurs even with all mousewheel*with*key.action set to 0 (see attachment (id=434844), just added before), and all (knowingly) mouse sensible add-ons switched to "neutral".
