When I was downloading a 2.7MB pdf, my disk /home was full and
the download halts at 705KB with 45 seconds remaining.

After some disk cleaning, I tried to resume the download.
I clicked the pause button, no response; I clicked the cancel button,
no response either.

I closed the download manager, and reopened it, but the problem still exist.

I started a new download. The download remains "starting" with an empty
progress bar, but the file was downloaded, and the cancel button does not respond either.
