User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-US; rv:1.9.0.8) Gecko/2009032609 Firefox/3.0.8 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-US; rv:1.9.0.8) Gecko/2009032609 Firefox/3.0.8 I have an 1-min long-polling getJSON call with JSONP (script), meanwhile I'm having some other quick jsonp calls (still with getjson). For the quick jsonp calls, the success/complete handler is not called, it is though called when the long polling call finishes. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. go to http://metropotam.ro 2. login (top-right) using demo and cuu$3bn3874l 3. click on the "Intra pe chat", bottom-right on the facebook-like bar (this will start the long-polling ajax call) 4. now click on the the twitter button on the left of the bar Actual Results: clicking the twitter button this calls bit.ly jsonp api to shorten the current url, you can debug the javascript to see that the complete handler is not called at the moment, but when the long call finishes Expected Results: the complete handler should have been called immediately
