Haven't noticed this before (perhaps did, but thought at the time it was a theme issue):


Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to Tools -> Options -> Advanced -> General tab.
2. Click on the 'Return Receipts...' button.

Actual Results:  
Notice (bottom-right) how the window is narrow and there is not enough space for the drop-down menus and the 'Cancel' button.


Expected Results:  
The window should be a bit wider, so things should fit.

Forgot to say I only see this in WinXP and Vista, not in linux (don't know about Mac) and with the default theme.

Adding another screenshot...

This time it is the 'Folder Properties' dialog when you right-click on a mail folder (user created folders plus all special folders except saved search folders). Again on WinXP and Vista only and using the default theme for both the OS and the application.

So, also updating bug title.

@Ludovic: 3.3(?)b3pre Are you referring to firefox? because this bug report is for thunderbird. In my first comment the first two 'User-Agent' lines are to describe the browser I use to report the bug, not where I see the issue. The issue is there in:

Forgot to say that I am testing on non English OSes.

Also if I manage to locate another dialog with the same issue (or someone else does before me), I'll change this bug to the more generic 'Some dialog windows are too narrow/elements misplaced to right & not fully visible'.

Sorry for not replying sooner. You are right, I don't see this in latest 3.2a with either the default theme or latest phoenity shredder 3.3.95. Tested in both WinXP and Win7 64bit.

The only minor issue I see now is that in the 'Folder Properties' dialog the fields are not aligned properly on the right side (the 'Location' field is a bit off to the right).

Can we file a new bug for the not aligned ?
