Description

Linux 2000-08-14-12. The substring matching for autocompletion is too
aggressive. It sometimes matches things which do not, in fact, match. Other
times it offers too many completions.

1) Start Mozilla, make sure your profile has a significant history
2) In the URL bar, type a colon by itself.
3) The auto-complete code offers every URL in your history

Or, try this:

1) Same as above
2) In the URL bar, type /// (or ////, or /////)
3) Mozilla offers many completions which make no sense, such as
http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/query.cgi.
