In preferences though "Always ask me where to save files" does not set Firefox asks the place to save a file every time. Steps to reproduce: 1. Open Preferences -> General 2. Check "Save files to" and input somewhere to save files 3. Make sure "Ask me where to save files" isn't checked 4. Download a file Actual result: "Enter name of file to save to" dialog is open. Expected result: Doesn't ask anything before download. Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.2a1pre) Gecko/20090425 Minefield/3.6a1pre
I tried again with new profile. The problem has been gone away. Marking invalid. I'm sorry for bad bug report.
