Under Linux, a middle-click on the scrollbar means "scroll here". Both Firefox and Thunderbird 2 respect this.

On Thunderbird 3 beta 2, middle-clicking the scrollbar *does* perform a "scroll here" action, but in addition to that it also opens the currently selected item in a new tab and switches to that tab.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Click to select on an email message in your Inbox
2. Middle-click on the scrollbar (somewhere other than the scroll thumb)
Actual Results:
A new tab opens.

Expected Results:
List should scroll.
