Details

Running FF 3.5b4 on ubuntu linux 9.04, each line feed enters 2. Also, backspace removes 2 linefeeds (if there are 2 empty lines above). BTW: I did not see a bespin component in bugzilla.

What version are you referring to? Is this present on the current instance of bespin.mozilla.com?
FF 3.5b4 had various issues with the keyboard, from what I saw. I don't believe this bug is current (and I haven't seen this running 3.5rc1 on Mac).
