Build 2000-08-15-08M18: NT4 Build 2000-08-14-08M18: Linux, Mac Overview: Sort a column in the Address Book using the classic skin and the column sort indicator does not appear. Steps to reproduce: 1. In Mail, switch from the Modern to the Classic skin 2. Open the Address Book 3. Select an address book that has a variety of entries 4. Select a column (Name, Email, Wok Phone...) and a sort should occur Actual Results: Notice that no sort indicator appears in the column header. Expected Results: A sort indicator should appear in the column header. Additional Information - Using the Modern skin displays a sort indicator.
Another observation: - After switching from Classic to Modern, now the column sort indicators don't appear. After exiting and restarting then the column sort indicators reappear.

The sort arrow now appears, but I don't think clicking on a column always causes a sort. It appears that an entry must be selected in order for the sort to work. I'll look into this.

Marking worksforme as the sort indicators show up. The selection issue should be a separate bug, since the sort indicators do show up regardless.
Build 2001-011004: NT4 Build 2001-011008: Linux 6.2, Mac 9.04 Reopening. I don't see the column sort indicators in the Address Book using the Modern or the Classic theme.

damn, now I'm seeing them!
on first launch, or if switch skins, they go away. if exit and restart, then they come back! nbaca, is that what you see?

Build 2001-04-11-04: NT4 Build 2001-04-11-08: Mac 9.04 When I create a new profile I can see the sort indicators in the first session. After an exit/restart then they disappear. Even after switching themes I never see them again. This happens in 3-pane and Address Book.

We really need to get these showing. Seth or pavlov, do you think this needs to be reassigned?
I don't think this is ours (mailnews). the column indicators do show up (on official builds) after the first run. so it's not a packaging problem. not sure who owns this, though.
I never see the indicators on the official build nor do I see them on any of the trees(address book, bookmarks, thread pane). I'm pretty sure this is a dup of another bug we used to have and I have a feeling I'm about to start reassigning wars again. But, since it's happening on all tree columns, my first start is hyatt for help on this.

This started working for me in the modern skin yesterday. I hadn't seen sort indicators in a long time. Are others still missing the indicators?
